細芬（應采兒 飾）表面上是一個普通的家庭主婦，但事實上她是麻雀高手過三洞的徒弟，精通麻雀。她愛麻雀但更愛丈夫子雄（尹子維 飾），而丈夫則不喜歡她沉醉麻雀。子雄是個不務正業的小混混，得到賭壇老大鬼哥的賞識。同時，鬼哥的妹妹也看上了子雄，千方百計要從細芬手中奪得子雄，細芬十分擔憂。細芬的師姐十三飛（元秋 飾）和師妹初戀（李籠怡 飾）出招教授。但子雄還是受不住誘惑，決定跟細芬離婚。細芬在麻雀臺上與波波對陣時輸掉了丈夫。細芬傷心自殺，經師父及師姐師妹的鼓勵，決定把失去的自信找回來，誓要在雀神大賽上贏回波波……
